For this article we are looking at how to get all your apps on your android phone in Dark Mode. Dark mode is very useful as it is easy on the eye as it allows less light to be reflected to your eyes. Dark mode for android apps has become a loved feature. However not all Apps support this feature. So we will be looking at how to get all apps on board with dark mode. DISCLAIMER – This will not work on TikTok to this date. Hopefully they will fix this sooner than later.
For all other Apps let us dive into how to get this mode activated.
Steps to Activate Dark Mode on Android Apps
- First thing is first you will have to enable Developer Options. If you have not done so as of yet you can find out how to do this in this article on How to Make Android Phone Faster.
- Once you have Developer Option enabled, go into it developer options
- Scroll down and find the option called “Force Dark Mode”
- Turn on Dark mode
Now you will find that all apps that did not naturally support dark mode will be forced to operate in dark mode.
NB – If Apps are very stubborn and does not want to work in dark mode it may look a bit funny. For example you may have dark texts with the dark theme of dark mode and such. If this is the case you can decide if you want to continue using Force Dark Mode. Or revert to how your apps were before. This however, works with most Apps.
