For this article / tutorial I will be looking at how to close Firefox without losing your browsing tabs. These are the windows that you have open within your browsing platform. Here is an article on How to close Google Chrome and not Lose your Browsing Tabs as well.
In the previous article on how to do this in Google Chrome I covered the step by step how to. The steps to do this in Firefox is a little different but the concept is still the same.
So I will be outlining how to get this done in Firefox. I will also provide a video tutorial on how this is done – step by step. This video tutorial can be found at the end of the article.
How to NOT lose your Browsing Tabs
- Open up Firefox. Once you have it open
- Click on the “Open Menu” icon: This is the 3 dash like icon located in the upper right hand corner right under the close button
- In the drop down Settings Menu look for and click on Options
- In the Option menu under General you will see, right at the top, “Restore previous session“. Check mark this option.
Once you have this option checked you will no longer have all your browsing taps closed when you close Firefox. It will always reload all the tabs that you were browsing in the window before you close it. Now restart Firefox and check it out.
This is “how to close Firefox without losing my browsing tabs”. No more stress or accidentally losing your web pages when you close out Firefox.
