Microsoft word not Responding

The Quick Fix

To fix the issue mentioned above simply right click on your task bar and select task manager – Learn more about Task Manager:

• Look to the far right and select “Services“
• Look for VSS (Description will read – Volume Shadow Copy). Your Services list should be in alphabetical order so just scroll down to find VSS and right click on it

• Next click on “Open Services“
• Now find “Print Spooler” from the given list
• Right click on print spooler and choose properties

Under the print spooler properties. Go to Startup type and select Manual and click Apply and then OK.

Now you can go to the Start Button and restart your computer and that should fix your Microsoft word not responding issue or not starting up / not launching.
