Figured I would try to help you guys fix this issue has I recently fixed it myself. So, if you are a webmaster and have your website check this out. One of the most important thing to consider is your contact page. With that comes your contact form and which one to use and how to troubleshoot your contact form. Let us look at contact form 7 not working.
The worst issue you could face with this is your contact form 7 not sending emails or messages to your email. As you can image this can be frustrating for your visitors. They are trying to reach you for assistance or to recommend or make suggestions but can never hear back from you. This could very well be because your contact form is not sending the messages to your email.
So how can you go about fixing this issue or the very least identifying what is wrong and then know how to seek help. Here is how you can firstly go about identifying what the issue may be.
Issues To Consider
- Is your website mailing system configure properly?
- Is your website able to send email to your desired email address?
- Did you setup your Contact Form 7 correctly?
The above are some simple questions to consider and here we will look at how check these out. How to troubleshoot points 1 and 2 above?
Go to your plugins and search for the following plugin – Check & Log Email. Install and activate the plugging. Look for it in the left hand panel of your website.
Access it and enter the email address that you wish to use with your Contact Form 7 submissions. Hit the test run action. You should receive an email confirming that your website is fit to deliver to that email address. If not, contact your hosting provider. If all goes well then proceed to setting up your contact form.

Once in your settings for your contact form ensure that the following is setup just as below under the heading FORM:

<label> Your Email (required)
[email* your-email] </label>
<label> Subject
[text* your-subject] </label>
<label> Your Message (optional)
[textarea your-message] </label>
[submit “Send”]

Once you have your form setup similar to what is above you should have no issues. Your submissions should go directly to your email of choice.
